Macquarie University’s new staff intranet launches on 5 December, making it easier for Macquarie staff to get the news and knowledge they need.
Fully customisable homepage quick links will provide easy access to frequently used systems and sites, while personalised news and events feeds will deliver information relevant to each staff member’s area of work.
A guide to the key features of the new staff intranet (including setting up subscriptions and quick links) will be shared in This Week in the coming weeks as the launch date approaches.
Changes to the Teche newsletter and staff intranet
From 5 December, news and events currently emailed to staff in the Teche newsletter will instead be published on the dedicated Learning and Teaching channel in the staff intranet. Macquarie University staff already subscribed to Teche don’t need to do anything here – you will automatically be subscribed to receive Teche articles in your news feed.
Subscribers external to Macquarie University will now receive a newsletter on a less frequent basis in 2024.
The last issue of the current Teche newsletter for Macquarie University staff will be emailed on December 4. Staff can continue to email teche@mq.edu.au if they have information, stories or events they would like shared on the Learning and Teaching channel of the staff intranet.
